Our Story

Linda and Leigh Eaton purchased Argus Hearing Center in Moncton in 1978 and then established new clinics in Miramichi, Saint John and Fredericton. It has been family-owned and operated ever since. Bill Eaton, their son, followed in his parent's steps and began in the industry in 1986 and his wife Norma in 1991. They both hold the designation of Hearing Instrument Specialist. Bill and Norma purchased the Argus Hearing centers in Saint John and Fredericton in 1993 and changed the name to Audiocorp. They sold the two clinics in 2011.

Leigh and Linda retired in 2013 and the Moncton and Miramichi clinics were purchased by Heidi, Bill and Norma. In 2017, Audiocorp Saint John and Owen’s Hearing Care in Saint John became part of the Argus family that is now Argus Audiology. In January 2020, both Saint John clinics merged to better service the Saint John Community.

Argus Audiology continued to grow in the summer of 2019 with the opening of the Riverview clinic.

We have recently collaborated with the New Brunswick Federation of Labour (NBFL) to create an annual award called the Owen MacLennan Trade Unionist of the Year, see the full article here.
